The Elements of Xenon Pearl’s Elements of Eternity Game

Alex Game Review – Is Elex a Good PC Game? (It’s on Steam, you can buy it there.) Well, I’ve been enjoying tabletop games like Munchkin and the like for years. But I never got around to trying an “action” type game until recently. I’ve also heard a lot of people talk about how good Paradox’s Fall was. So I thought I’d give it a go. In my opinion, there are a lot of excellent games out there on the market right now that are PC-style games. So, what makes Elex different, and does it live up to some of the hype?

The concept behind this game is

very intriguing. You play the role of Jake O’Brien, an electrical technician who gets accidentally put into a deep underground facility (where nuclear weapons are kept). Several other characters in the facility face the same predicament, including a half-man, half-machine robot protecting themselves from the monsters that roam the underground passages. While hunting down these creatures to take back to their homeland, Jake also discovers that he has some sort of tragic history. This is where the game starts.

So what’s really interesting to me about this game is that some very good narrative hooks start the game in a very good way. Then as the game moves along, things start to get more mysterious and a bit confusing. But all of this ties together into a very good and intense climax. So overall, this is definitely a sci-fi PC game that’s worth playing if you enjoy adventure and fantasy plots with a bit of twist and turns.

The PC version of this game

requires certain system requirements to be met. The minimum requirement for the game is that you have to have a fairly decent graphics card and a high minimum system requirement system. However, the best part is that the minimum requirements aren’t hard to meet at all. All you really need to do is meet the basic system requirements, and then you’ll set to go. The only other thing that you need to have worked is a good Internet connection as well as a good antivirus and spyware program.

Now, let’s talk about the actual play of the game. Unlike many other RPG games, in this one, there are no maps or levels. Everything is generated on the fly in the environment you are in. Therefore, instead of going through rooms and doors like in previous RPG games. You basically have to get from one point to another without any help. Due to this feature of the game, the only way to advance further is to acquire more attribute points through doing missions and quests. I’ll explain each attribute point in a bit of detail below.

The first and most important attribute point in the game is

Magic Points. Every character has a certain amount of Magic points. Whenever you perform a physical attack on a character, you will gain one point. The more damage you do, the more Magic points you will lose, so it is important to balance your attack and defense.

Fighting skills are also one of the main skills. When you are in combat with another character, your fighting skill will determine how many points you gain. If you are more skillful, you will also be able to immobilize your opponent for some time that will allow you to take him down or turn him to your side. Plus, you will also gain experience points (EXP) for every fight you take part in.

Conclusion

If you like magic, the Mages (magic-users) in the game are your best bet. They have several different types of magical attacks that will either help you or hurt you in combat. The only problem is that they are also more difficult to control. Mages can use objects to deflect, shield themselves or cast powerful spells.
